I was being reminded by the song titled  "Let’s Get Loud" sung by Jennifer Lopez which I just finished hearing a couple of minutes ago, that I want to just make one posting about one of the Japanese "sense of hospitality" custom. Actually this kinda thing has just impressed me since the first day I spent at the shops when I came to Yamanashi last year. Even not unfrequently, it could also drive me to insanity…really! hahaha…
I believe it will also impress every other foreigners  -ignoring where they exactly come from outside of Japan-  in this world, or maybe even some will think it as a lil bit "annoyance" during their shopping time inside the shops…but only in Japan…YES! I positively & surely think so, at least until now…how about you?? please tell me if you ever find similar kinda "sense of hospitality" custom outside of Japan…hahaha…

When you enter a shop in Japan, you are systematically welcomed with the usual expression: irasshaimase!
(いらっしゃいませ)
which literally means "come in" (nice, but usually, you’re
already in the shop). The problem is that to make sure you heard it,
they will repeat it continuously and loudly : irasshaimase, irasshaimase!  And when there are more than one vendors, each of them will shout in turn.

OK, that’s when you enter, but there is also an expression for when you go out: arigatou gozaimashita!
(ありがとうございました)
,
and you’ll hear it until you left the shop. When you know
this means "thank you very much", you’ll laugh when you leave the shop
without buying anything and every (!) vendor is thanking you…hahahaaaaaa…

So here is just a short fragment of the Let’s Get Loud song lyric…I think it can suit, you know, with the spirit of Japanese people to show their unique willing to be affable to all of the coming customers.

……………….

If you wanna live your life
Live it all the way and don’t waste it

Every feelin’ every beat

Can be so very sweet you gotta taste it
You gotta do it, you gotta do it your way

You gotta prove itYou gotta mean what you sayYou gotta do it, you gotta do it your wayYou gotta prove itYou gotta mean what you sayREFF. Let's get loud, let's get loud          Turn the music up to hear that sound           Let's get loud, let's get loud           Ain't nobody gotta tell ya          What you gotta do                                    .........................
